WIC 2014 Best Paper Awards

Best Paper Awards are given to authors of outstanding articles contributited to WIC 2014 component conferences: WI 2014, IAT 2014, BIH 2014 and AMT 2014. Additionally, two Best Student Paper Awards are presented - one for WI-IAT 2014 and one for AMT-BIH 2014.

The Awards for WIC 2014 have been presented to authors during  the ceremony that took place at the Banquet on August 13, 2014.

WI 2014 BEST PAPER AWARD
for the contribution entitled

IAT 2014 BEST PAPER AWARD
for the contribution entitled
Testing Carlo Cipolla's Laws of Human Stupidity with Agent-Based Modeling
authored by
Andrea G.B. Tettamanzi and Célia da Costa Pereira
and published in the Proceedings of the 2014 IEEE/WIC/ACM International Conference on Intelligent Agent Technology.

AMT 2014 BEST PAPER AWARD
for the contribution entitled
Mining False Information on Twitter for a Major Disaster Situation
authored by
Keita Nabeshima, Junta Mizuno, Naoaki Okazaki, and Kentaro Inui
and published in the Proceedings of the 2014 International Conference on Active Media Techology.

BIH 2014 BEST PAPER AWARD
for the contribution entitled
